LGV 2 Driver
LGV Driver Loader – Full-Time Role
Overview
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
- Shift times: 05:30 – 15:00
- Pay: £19.87 per hour | Annual salary: £43,912
This role involves driving LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes, and bags from households while supporting local street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking. The job requires initiative, leadership, and a passion for improving environmental quality in communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to operate LGV waste vehicles effectively
- Responsible for waste collection, bin emptying, and bag removal from properties
- Carry out street cleansing duties, including sweeping and litter picking
- Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations
- Uphold a positive work ethic, demonstrating leadership and teamwork
