As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. The role will be Monday to Friday, 45hrs per week and requires flexibility as working overtime will be required, including some weekend work and occasional nights out.
How you create impact
Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards Follow all delivery, collection and returns procedures Responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times Report vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented Comply with Driver’s regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the O License legalisation and Company procedures You may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training is provided Ensure all documentation is completed as per company procedure Follow all housekeeping tasks as required

What we would like you to bring
Must hold a current class C+E licence ADR Class 1-9 – Less 7 - Desirable, not essential Basic numeracy and conversational English language Hold a valid driver qualification card Preferred 2 years driving experience Excellent communication skills Customer focused with the desire to suceed Experience of working within a team Experience of Health & Safety

This is a monthly paid role, you will recieve £50.00 per month once you have ADR and £14.99 per day when on secure work. There is occasional nights out, where you will be put up in a hotel and have a £35.00 meal allowance for an evening meal.
