Company Description
Mainline Haulage was established in 1974 running a Transit Van from Mainline Service Station in Wolverhampton. Mainline Haulage now runs a fleet of circa 40 HGVs from a state-of-the-art distribution and warehousing facility in Willenhall.
Mainline view their select customer base as members of an exclusive club! We act as consultants to evaluate our customer’s logistical challenges and always find the most efficient and cost-effective solution to ensure seamless despatch, handling, and delivery of our customer’s product. We believe in the concept that our valued customer’s time and management effort is better spent focusing on their core business with Mainline taking out all the hassle that can come with ‘Warehousing and Distribution’.

Job Description
As a Class 1 LGV Driver for Mainline Haulage you’ll be making bulk collections & deliveries between Mainline Haulage and customers nationwide.
You will be driving a modern and well-maintained fleet delivering to various locations nationwide. As this is general haulage there may be a requirement for various nights out per week.
Deliveries and collections may involve trailer swaps or having your trailer live unloaded or loaded, depending on individual customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- A valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence.
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience.
- A valid UK CPC Card.
- A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- Ability to drive long distances and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to load / unload trailers where needed.
