LGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver

What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of vehicle allocated
  • You will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheet for the vehicle and as well as any specialised equipment that you may need to use as part of daily work
  • If necessary, operate special BOC equipment such as a forklift truck or crane for loading and unloading vehicles
  • Applying defensive driving techniques, knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads to ensure the safe transit and delivery of cylinders is required
  • You will deliver approx. 15-20 gas cylinders per day to customers in the area
  • Use safe cylinder manual handling techniques to deliver/collect cylinders to/from customers
  • Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations

What Makes You Great

  • You are holding an HGV/LGV Cat C licence
  • ADR (Class 2 in packages)
  • A driver CPC is required
  • Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Having a high level of personal integrity suits to your profile
  • Have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 2 years, for insurance purposes
