Class 2 LGV Driver – Carmarthen
We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused LGV Driver to join our busy and friendly team at Branch in Carmarthen. If you’re a skilled driver committed to excellent service and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
You’ll play a vital role in our delivery operations, ensuring goods are transported safely, professionally, and on time while upholding the highest standards on and off the road. Outside of driving, you’ll also support branch and yard operations to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records.
- Load, secure, and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Operate a vehicle-mounted hi-ab crane (after training).
- Deliver products safely and professionally to customer sites.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Assist customers and provide product support as needed.
- Help the branch team with preparing deliveries, customer service, and stock management.
- Follow health & safety, driving, and company procedures at all times.

Requirements
- Valid LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) driving licence.
- Driver CPC and relevant qualifications.
- A polite, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Experience with hi-ab crane operation.
- Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and exceptional service.
- Forklift licence (desirable or willingness to train).
- Ability to assist with yard and warehouse tasks outside of driving hours.

Working Hours & Salary
- Average weekly hours: 43.25
- Monday to Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Every other Saturday morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Salary: £30,743.00 per year
