- £16.35/hour + £2.72 premium for night shifts (18:00–06:00)

# LGV Driver – Job Description
Key Responsibilities
The role involves transporting bulk collections across DPD sites and major customers nationwide.
Your core duties:
- Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focussing on LGV-friendly locations.
- Manage trailer swaps and coordinate live loading/unloading to optimise operations.
- Use digital tachographs and GPS systems to track routes and ensure full compliance.
- Maintain professional relationships with dispatch teams and customers.
- Conduct pre/post-drive vehicle inspections and prioritise safe, responsible driving in all conditions.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
✔ Licences:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Experience:
- Minimum 12 months’ hands-on experience driving Class 1 vehicles
✔ Skills & Mindset:
- Strong geographical knowledge of UK roads

- Ability to solve problems under pressure and meet deadlines
