Schenk UK is an innovative national tanker haulage business operating one of the largest road tanker fleets in the UK. For over 60 years, we’ve proudly served the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors, making us the UK’s largest chemical transporter.
We’re now seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our waste operations team at our Knostrop site, working Monday to Friday tramping. You’ll be responsible for working across our waste network, covering waste collections.
Pay & Benefits
£14.71 per hour (basic rate) Guaranteed 50 hours Overtime (Mon–Fri): £22.07/hr after 9 hours per shift Saturday overtime: £22.07/hr after 3 hours worked Sunday & Bank Holidays: £29.42/hr after 3 hours worked Weekend working is part of the shift pattern (reflected in pay rates) Bank Holiday working also required (premium pay reflects unsocial hours) Fully paid breaks All CPC training hours, courses, accreditations & driver medicals paid Full PPE provided

What We’re Looking For
LGV Class 1 licence (max 6 points) Driver CPC and valid tachograph card Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 experience Vacuum tanker experience preferred (training provided if required) Strong knowledge of Driver Transport Legislation Safety-focused mindset
