We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious LGV Driver to join our team at Witheridge. If you hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence and take pride in delivering excellent service, this role offers a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team that values professionalism, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (45 hours per week)
As an LGV Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- End-point delivery to customers and internal distribution to stores
- Operating a modern fleet and compliance with road transport legislation
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness
- Providing excellent customer service

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers and stores
- Ensure road transport legislation compliance
- Maintain high safety and cleanliness standards in vehicles
- Offer a professional, customer-focused approach
- Work as part of a team with flexibility when required
About You
Required:
- Class 1 or Class 2 LGV licence
- Driver CPC certification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to health and safety best practices
Preferred:
- ADR Training (training provided)
- Ability to operate lorry-mounted forklifts or HIAB
Note: Some nights out may be required.
What We Offer
Compensation & Pay:
- Earnings potential: £45,000+ per year
- Hourly rate: £14.50
- Overtime: £21.75 per hour (beyond 45h/week)
- Double time: £29 per hour (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays)
- +£200 monthly bonus after achieving ADR qualification
- Paid for Driver CPC and licence medicals
