Location: Peterhead
Duration: Permanent
Work type: Full time 45hrs per week

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a fully qualified LGV Driver to operate on a Monday - Friday dayshift schedule out of our Peterhead site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles in a safe and effective manner to minimise the risk of injury or damage to other vehicles and property
  • Adheres to all Asco policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks through the drivers App.
  • Advise Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely stored
  • Ensure weight distribution does not exceed gross 28 tonnes
  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods in line with ADR regulations
  • Accept, start and complete all relevant deliveries and collections using the Transport Management System (TMS) via the ASCO APP on the vehicle phone
  • Ensure signatures are obtained within the TMS system via the ASCO App as proof of delivery

Qualifications:

  • LGV C+E licence
  • Certificate of Professional Competence Card
  • ADR licence
  • Digi Tachograph Card

HSSEQ:

In partnership with the HSE department, ensure the continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance and compliance to all laws, regulations and industry standards/codes.

Fully endorse the ASCO 'Stop the Job' policy and commitment to proactive intervention where an unsafe act or condition is observed.
Adherence to the ASCO's integrated management system ensuring document control and improvements to key processes is maintained.
