Contract Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week Days of Work: Monday to Friday Shift: 14:00 – 18:00

The Role
As a Relief/Tramper Driver, you’ll be a critical link in the DPD logistics network, handling bulk collections across the UK. Your responsibilities include:
- Operating state-of-the-art fleet vehicles to transport pallet loads between DPD and key customers nationwide.
- Working 4 nights out per week, sleeping in secure DPD sites overnight.
- Using high-tech GPS and logistics tools for route management.
- Ensuring high autonomy, professionalism, and efficient deliveries.
- Being a logistics professional vital to keeping the country moving.

-£16.35 per hour base (plus £2.72 night premium for shift hours). -£28.67 daily allowance for food and subsistence.

Responsibilities
- Make critical truck-loading journeys between DPD depots and major UK customers.
- Maintain high vehicle and customer service standards.
- Adapt to varied routes with minmal oversight.
- Operate safely under pressure, resolving unexpected issues on the road.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence.
- Digital Tachograph Card and valid CPC.
- At least 12 months driving experience on Class 1 vehicles.
- Excellent knowledge of UK major roads and routes.
- Safety-first mindset with a focus on efficiency and workflow.
- Demonstrated skill in problem-solving and maintaining deadlines while delivering excellent service.
