DPD UK, part of Geopost, seeks an autonomous, ambitious LGV Driver to help drive our national network of bulk freight movement. If you love independence, state-of-the-art fleets, and a supportive company culture, this is the role for you.

About the Role

This Relief/Tramper Driver position is designed for drivers who embrace responsibility and showcase problem-solving skills. You’ll operate as a critical link in DPD’s delivery chain, ensuring bulk freight moves seamlessly across the UK in our modern HGV fleet. Tasks include:

Daily + weekly work patterns involve 4 night-duty rotations (sleeping over in approved DPD sites). Modern transport and telematics support navigation and fleet management.

DPD’s mission: **Keeping Britain moving.** Why it matters? Drive sustainable bulk freight and serve DPD’s e-commerce partnerships by hitting deadlines with precision.

  • Client & Depot Interaction:
    • Liaise and coordinate with colleagues at spaces to ensure seamless logistics handover
    • Assist with loading/unloading and cargo integrity where applicable
  • Flexibility & Compliance:
    • Commit to set workdays (4× nights out/week) and respond to temporary scheduling, where required.
    • Maintain licensed fleet, CPC/Digital Tachograph, and personal vehicles (where applicable).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
