About the Role

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly to join the team at Wootton Library to work every Saturday from 11am to 1pm, and to help us deliver a high quality and welcoming service to a diverse range of customers.

Key Requirements

  • Competent and secure use of ICT

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers by helping them use the self-service system
  • Answer customer enquiries
  • Provide ICT and digital support
  • Participate in library activities
  • Carry out a range of day-to-day library routines

Job Requirements

Working in a library is an active role which involves:

  • Carrying books
  • Pushing trolleys
  • Lifting boxes
  • Walking and being on your feet for long periods of time

Location and Flexibility

  • Base location: Wootton Library
  • Regular rota
  • Expected to work flexibly and cover at other local libraries if required
