Location: Shropshire, England (based at RAF Cosford, near Albrighton, Wolverhampton)
About the Role

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll work on advanced aerospace platforms, directly contributing to operational success while shaping your career in a world-class engineering environment.
The Role
In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll:
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Certify maintenance work under Part 145 (or equivalent approvals).
- Diagnose and repair faults to minimise aircraft downtime.
- Maintain precise maintenance records and ensure compliance with industry protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance.
Terms: Shifts are 40 hours per week, including weekends. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Essential Requirements
Demonstrated expertise in: ✔ Regulated aviation maintenance (highly structured environments). ✔ In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and approved maintenance procedures. ✔ Relevant type ratings (or equivalent experience) for analogous aircraft platforms. ✔ Team collaboration with unwavering attention to detail. ✔ Clear stakeholder communication to facilitate mission requirements.
Qualifications
Essential:
- EASA Part 66 License (or UK CAA equivalent). Desirable:
- Type ratings for the assigned aircraft platforms.
- Human Factors & Electrical Wiring Interconnections (EWIS) training.
Security Clearance
Successful candidates must apply for and maintain a (BPSS) Counter Terrorist Check (CTC). Note: Security vetting and trade control restrictions may apply based on nationality/residency. Further details via GOV.UK.
