The Opportunity:

We have a new opportunity for a Licensed Conveyancer / Legal Executive / Solicitor to join our Residential Conveyancer team, based at any of our office locations. This position offers a great opportunity to work closely with agents, buyers, and investors, and will be pivotal to ensuring that our clients experience a professional and efficient service. This growing department works in a fast-paced environment, and they are looking for an individual who will relish the challenge that this brings.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of at least three years undertaking residential conveyancing work, with a fee earning target.

  • The successful candidate will hold relevant legal qualifications.
  • Successful candidates should be committed to providing excellent standards of client care, be commercially astute, and have working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures.
  • We are looking for someone with great time management, IT and communication skills and someone who appreciates the importance of attention to detail.
  • The applicants will enjoy a busy environment and will have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Successful candidates will be team players who thrive in a successful collaborative environment.

  • Handling of a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, from instruction through to completion, with a fee earning target.
  • Liaising and meeting with clients and agents, building strong rapport, to ensure a seamless transaction process.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating options, contracts, leases, and other property-related documents.
  • Providing support and advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, financial and compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each transaction.
  • Taking responsibility for credit control on your own matters. This will include monitoring costs, work in progress and aged debt disbursements.
  • Ensuring clients are kept regularly informed on progress and costs.
  • Leading and supporting your staff as well as supporting other support staff.
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive team dynamic.
  • Participating in business development opportunities and networking events to promote firm services.

About the Team:

The Residential Conveyancing team are approachable, personal, professional and efficient individuals that guide and support clients through buying and selling property, equity release, remortgaging a property, transfer of equity and voluntary first registration of land.
