The Licensed Plumber
The Licensed Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing all types of water piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and trappings in accordance with all recognized plumbing codes and regulations for the city and state. This role requires a strong proficiency in commercial and industrial environments, and the ability to troubleshoot, install, and maintain systems in both critical and non-critical areas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong proficiency in working within commercial and industrial environments.
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain water piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and trappings in both critical and non-critical areas.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment and inventory in plumbing spaces for maximum efficiency.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether on the job site or driving company vehicles.
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Respond to emergency situations, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing issues promptly.
- Provide strong customer service experience along with efficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, efficiency, and organization.
- Assist other trades as required.

Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Education and/or Experience)
- Active Plumber License required.
- A technical degree in Plumbing theory or a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in the Plumbing trade industry.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations for the city and state.
- Ability to successfully complete the required company training.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements
- The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and perform physical labor related to maintenance and repair.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Possible frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places and outside weather conditions.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies as necessary.
