Company Description

⚒️ Licensing Executive

📍 Location: Hybrid working, based at London Stadium

💰 Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

🕒 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexibility required) A Minimum of 3 days in the office

⚽ Matchday Commitment: Occasional flexibility to work a small number of evening and weekend fixtures throughout the season.

We are looking for a highly proactive, organised and enthusiastic Licensing Executive to join our Commercial team. Reporting to the Licensing Lead, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management and continued growth of the Club's licensing programme, helping deliver best-in-class licensed products that strengthen our brand, engage supporters and drive commercial success.

Position

🎯 What You'll Be Doing

As Licensing Executive, you'll support the successful delivery of the Club's licensing programme by:

✅ Supporting the day-to-day management of existing licensees and developing strong working relationships to maximise revenue opportunities and fan engagement.

✅ Managing the online product approval process from initial design concepts through to sampling and final approval, ensuring every product reflects West Ham United's brand standards.

✅ Proactively requesting, monitoring and analysing royalty reports through the online submission portal.

✅ Working closely with the Partnership Management and Marketing teams to deliver licensing partner rights, including coordinating player commercial appearances.

✅ Onboarding new licensees by providing brand assets, guidelines and training on Club processes.

✅ Tracking licensing agreements, contractual rights and maintaining accurate overview documents.

✅ Ensuring all manufacturing information and compliance documentation is accurately maintained and kept up to date.

✅ Supporting the planning and delivery of licensee meetings, events and attending industry exhibitions, including Brand Licensing Europe.

✅ Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen partnerships and contribute to the continued growth of the Club's licensing programme.

Requirements

⭐ About You

We're looking for someone who combines excellent organisation with commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.

Essential Skills & Experience

✔️ 1–2 years' experience in Brand Licensing, Consumer Products or a similar commercial environment.

✔️ Highly driven to deliver elite outcomes through a proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach.

✔️ Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational and process management skills.

✔️ A high level of numeracy and confidence analysing financial information and royalty reports.

✔️ Excellent planning skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

✔️ Outstanding relationship management skills with the confidence to work with internal teams, external partners and senior stakeholders.

✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

✔️ Experience using online product approval and royalty reporting systems.

✔️ A genuine interest in football culture, consumer trends, retail and sustainability best practice.

✔️ Comfortable supporting commercial activity involving elite athletes at player appearances.

⚽ Working Pattern

📅 Standard working week: Monday to Friday

🌙 Flexibility is required to support a small number of evening and weekend matchdays during the season.
