Licensing Officer
Position: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Permanent
Salary: Band GR7, £31,022 per annum
Location: Ty Elai, Williamstown
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Licensing Team, reporting to the Assistant Licensing Manager in the Public Protection Division of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The role involves administering and enforcing the local authority’s licensing regime, including:
- Processing licence applications and associated fees
- Ensuring adherence to statutory and procedural deadlines
Responsibilities & Key Duties
- Handling regulatory and compliance matters
- Collaborating across teams while demonstrating adaptable communication
- Utilising computer-based information systems for data analysis and management
- Managing interactions with members of the public

Requirements
- Educated to ONC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline or
- Experience in a regulatory role and relevant work history
- Strong clerical and administrative skills
- Ability to travel independently where required for duty
- Flexible in schedule to include occasional outside office hours work
