About the Role
Our Adult Residential/Supported Living Home at An Caladh House, part of Kisimul Group Ltd, is seeking passionate Life Practitioners to deliver exceptional support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
This role is ideal for those who want to make a real difference by helping individuals lead fulfilling, independent lives.You’ll assist with daily activities, accompanying residents on community trips (e.g., shopping, medical appointments, leisure outings), and using a company vehicle for transport (eligibility: full UK driving licence or 2+ years of UK driving experience).
Employment Details
- **Starting wage: £12.71/hour
- **With experience (Level 3): £13.60/hour
- Progression options: Competency framework to unlock higher pay (£13.10/hour at Level 2).

Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to individuals with complex needs across daily routines and social inclusion.
- Plan and accompany outings to encourage community engagement and independence.
- Collaborate with our Meaningful Life Model to promote wellbeing and personal growth.
- Safeguard individuals in alignment with Kisimul’s commitment to safeguarding.

Requirements & Skills

Essential:
- A genuine passion for care and motivation to support others’ development.
- Strong teamwork, resilience, and ability to ask for help when needed.
- Communication skills (written and verbal) and basic computer literacy.
- Preferable: Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
