Job Details Job Title: Life Sciences Solution Sales Lead – IT & AI Solutions (Biopharma) Location: London, UK. Experience: 12–15 years total IT experience with 5–10 years in solution sales or consulting-led selling in life sciences Domain Focus: Biopharma (R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Commercial) Role Type: Consultative, solution-driven sales with strong domain alignment
Key Responsibilities Drive end-to-end solution sales for IT, data, and AI offerings tailored to biopharma clients across the value chain Lead consultative discovery engagements to identify client pain points, unmet needs, and transformation opportunities Develop and present compelling, domain-led solution pitches to CXO and senior stakeholders (CIO, CDO, Head of R&D, Commercial leaders) Translate industry challenges (e.g., clinical trial optimization, regulatory compliance, digital manufacturing, omnichannel engagement) into actionable solution propositions Own revenue targets and drive pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, and deal closure for HLS domain solutions Collaborate with product, delivery, and consulting teams to shape customized offerings and value propositions Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on digital, data, and AI transformation Track and incorporate latest life sciences trends (AI in drug discovery, real-world evidence, digital therapeutics, patient-centric models) into sales strategy Develop thought leadership assets (whitepapers, POVs, executive presentations) to position the organization as a domain-led innovator Participate in industry forums, client workshops, and strategic discussions to enhance market presence and credibility

Key Skills Strong understanding of the life sciences value chain: drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing, and commercialization Proven experience in solution selling for IT, digital, data, and AI-led transformation programs in biopharma Expertise in consultative selling techniques, stakeholder mapping, and value-based selling approaches Ability to articulate complex AI and data-driven solutions (e.g., predictive analytics, generative AI, clinical data platforms) in business terms Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders Commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing large deal cycles Awareness of regulatory and compliance landscape (GxP, FDA, EMA, data privacy) impacting technology adoption Strategic thinking with the ability to align solutions to client business outcomes and industry trends Cross-functional collaboration skills across sales, consulting, product, and delivery teams Thought leadership mindset with the ability to create and deliver impactful industry narratives on AI, digital, and data transformation
