Working on a bank basis means you’re not tied to a set number of hours per week but instead work flexibly to support the business while balancing your availability.
At Nuffield Health, we create a safe and welcoming environment for all members and visitors—whether they're in our swimming pool, gym, steam room, or spa. We’re now looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Lifeguard to help keep customers happy, healthy, and secure.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our members while providing exceptional customer service. As a Lifeguard, your key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring wet side facilities safely: Our swimming pool, spa, sauna, and steam room require constant vigilance.
- Remaining alert and responsive: You’ll need to respond quickly to any incidents while maintaining a friendly, relaxed, and professional atmosphere.
- Guiding pool safety: Supporting members, enforcing Pool Safety Guidelines, and welcoming guests.
- Customer-first focus: Ensuring all visitors have a safe, enjoyable experience while feeling valued.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or equivalent, with up-to-date training records.
- Passion for customer care: A strong desire to help members while maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Team player mentality: Enthusiastic, positive, and eager to learn and grow.
- Flexibility: Availability to work on a bank basis to meet business needs.
