Lifeguard Role – Stockley Park (Pool)
Job Title: Lifeguard Location: Stockley Park, Pool Contract Type: Permanent / Part Time Hours: 8 per week Salary: £27,248 per annum pro rata
About the Role

We’re currently searching for an enthusiastic Lifeguard to ensure the swimming pool, spa, sauna, and steam room remain attractive, well-maintained, and safe places for everyone.
In return, you’ll receive the support and rewards you need to grow both personally and professionally. As a Lifeguard, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our members safe, healthy, and happy.
Responsibilities
As a Lifeguard, your key duties will include:
- Safeguarding our members while using wet side facilities such as:
- Swimming pool
- Spa
- Sauna
- Steam room
- Maintaining attentiveness and awareness at all times to ensure a secure environment
- Establishing and maintaining a friendly, relaxed, and professional atmosphere
- Welcoming and supporting members to ensure they feel comfortable and assisted
- Monitoring all safety protocols and responding promptly and effectively to any incidents
- Enforcing Pool Safety Guidelines consistently and vigilantly
- Working closely with a team-focused approach to deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements
To excel in this Lifeguard role, the following are expected:
- A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Ability to provide up-to-date training records to maintain compliance
- Strong people skills, being able to engage positively with members of all backgrounds
- A can-do attitude, enthusiasm for helping others, and willingness to learn and grow
- Commitment to delivering high standards of customer care
- Ability to work independently yet as part of a team while adhering to safety and operational standards
