About the Role
‘Getting Stuck In’ is one of our key values, and we’re looking for new Team Members who love doing just that!
We’re looking for new Team Members to work across different departments on resort. Lifeguards play a vital role in ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience in our pool and on the flumes at Splash Waterworld. Our top priority is safety, so this position demands:
- Excellent attention to detail
- A warm and engaging approach to customer service
You’ll also lead and support poolside activities, helping create unforgettable moments for our guests.
About You
We’re looking for a high-spirited, fun-loving multi-tasker who loves learning new things and working with a like-minded group of people.

As a Team Member Plus, you’ll split your time between two roles:
- Cleaning accommodation (Monday and Friday shifts)
- Lifeguarding during the rest of your contracted hours
No day will ever be the same—you’ll enjoy the variety of working with different teams and guests.
A previous lifeguard qualification is a bonus, but if you don’t have one, you’ll be trained through our NPLQ course to start your lifeguarding career.
If selected, you’ll need to pass Butlin’s swim test.
Swim Test Requirements
- Swim 50m in under 75 seconds
- Treading water
- Surface diving
- Climbing out of the pool unassisted
