About the Role
(Internal title: Lifestyles Coordinator)
The Activities Coordinator will proactively engage with and support the activities programme, ensuring residents and staff are informed, involved, and empowered. This role is essential to fostering an environment where every resident’s unique needs and preferences are celebrated.

Salary: £12.71 per hour Hours: 36 per week, worked on a rota basis (Monday–Sunday) Location: Monmouth Close, Ipswich, IP2 8RS
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver a meaningful, enjoyable, engaging, and stimulating activities programme aligned with person-centred care principles, ensuring all residents are involved at a level that respects their individuality.
- Champion person-centred care across the team to empower residents’ inclusivity and choice in their lifestyles.
- Actively engage with residents in conversations and meaningful occupation, tailored to their lifestyle, communication needs, and pace to uphold dignity and respect.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in organising and scheduling events/programmes, ideally within a healthcare or care setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for enriching the lives of residents.
- Dementia awareness is highly advantageous.
- A proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating teams.
