Activities Coordinator (Lifestyles Coordinator) – Ashlynn Grange Care Home
About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator (Lifestyles Coordinator, internally), you will lead the delivery of an engaging, person-centred activities programme at Ashlynn Grange, ensuring residents enjoy meaningful and enjoyable experiences.
At Ashlynn Grange, we foster memorable moments and a vibrant community through:
- A 24-hour activity programme tailored to each resident’s individual needs
- Live performances on our outdoor stage
- A luxurious newly refurbished café offering fresh tea, coffee and cakes
- Stunning gardens (floralled and vegetable plots) for outdoor engagement
Saltary: £12.71 per hour Hours: 30 per week, shifts from Monday to Sunday (rota basis) Location: Ashlynn Grange, Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate a fulfilling, stimulating and empowering activities programme, aligned with person-centred care principles
- Ensure all residents are engaged based on individuality, dignity and choice
- Advocate lifestyles choices and decisions to support autonomy
- Facilitate meaningful conversations and occupations that respect each resident’s pace and communication needs
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and execute activities/programmes – preferably within healthcare or social care.
- Strong verbal/written communication, with credibility for improving resident engagement.
- Knowledge of dementia is a strongly preferred advantage.
- Proven record of leading, empowering and motivating teams.
