Joseph Stannah founded the business in 1867. The family is now in their fifth generation and plays a hands-on role in running the business. While many people know us for our stairlifts, our range of products also includes lifts, escalators, and homelifts. We also provide maintenance and repair services.
Job Description
- Position: Lift Engineer
- Location: Key stations across Birmingham
- Salary: Up to £60,000 (including OTE), based on skills and level
- Hours: 08:00 – 16:45 Monday to Thursday; 08:00 – 15:45 Friday

Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and emergency call-outs for lifts, stairlifts, and homelifts
- Maintain high-quality service and robust safety standards
- Perform risk assessments and document findings on site log cards
- Participate in the on-call rota, with additional standby allowance and call-out payments

Requirements
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer
- Valid UK driving licence
