Role Description

The Lift Engineer role at Park Lifts Ltd is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lift systems. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Diagnosing technical issues with lifting equipment
  • Performing remote support for maintenance and repair activities
  • Preparing clear documentation and reports on lift performance and service interventions

  • Contributing to continuous improvement of lift solutions and customer service processes

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge and practical experience with lifting equipment, lift systems, and related mechanical or electrical components.
  • Strong maintenance and repair skills, including fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and support for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for working with internal teams, contractors, and customers in a remote environment.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices related to lift operations and maintenance.
  • Customer service orientation, with the ability to provide responsive, solutions-focused support and build long-term client relationships.
  • Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or lift engineering (e.g., NVQ or equivalent), or comparable experience.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications, and produce accurate service documentation.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms to support dispersed teams and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
