Most people recognise us for our stairlifts, but our range of products also includes lifts, escalators, and homelifts. Additionally, we provide maintenance and repair services.


About the Role

Are you a qualified Lift Engineer looking for a position at a market-leading family-run organisation? Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry, is hiring for the role of Lift Engineer across Portsmouth and surrounding locations.

  • Working hours:
    • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
    • Friday: 08:00 – 15:45

Lift Engineer Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and call-out visits across various lift and stairlift types
  • Ensure high service quality and safety standards
  • Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site logbooks
  • Participate in an on-call rota (additional pay, including standby allowance and call-out payment)

Qualifications & Requirements

To apply for this role, you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering
  • Proven Lift Engineer experience
  • A valid UK driving licence

Any Lift Engineering background, including formal qualifications like NVQ 3, would be a strong asset.
