Lifting Construction Manager
ManpowerHinkley Point C
Main Duties:
- Leading rigging and lifting teams through superintendents, driving performance and accountability
- Driving productivity, attendance, and working standards across the workforce
- Owning forward planning, including 16-week lookahead schedules for lifting activities
- Forecasting labour requirements and aligning resources to programme delivery
- Promoting a strong nuclear safety culture through leadership, inspections, and compliance

Requirements:
- CPCS Blue Card and ECITB Appointed Person certification (TAP01) - essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting or Moving Loads - desirable
- IOSH, SMSTS or SSSTS safety qualifications - desirable
- Holding significant experience leading lifting and rigging operations on major construction projects
- Demonstrating senior leadership capability managing large teams in high‑pressure environments
- Operating within highly regulated or high‑hazard industries such as nuclear, defence or infrastructure
- Managing workforce performance, productivity frameworks and delivery targets
- Collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders across complex project environments
