About The Role
To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the Waitrose E Commerce Vehicle fleet and outlying branch vehicles, in a professional and competent manner. Providing technical support to the on site transport department and Local Waitrose and John Lewis branches.
At a glance
- Salary: The salary offered for this role is up to £55,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.
- Working Hours: Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate.
- Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday - 13:30 - 21:30
- Contract type: This is a permanent role
- Location: Magna Park (NDC)
About The Role
To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on site E commerce light commercial fleet. To carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs.
You’ll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to deliver high-quality repairs are carried out in a cost-effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.

Working in our Vehicle workshop is a fun and welcoming environment. As a co-owned business, all of our Partners work together to ensure all goals are achieved and that everyone in the team is a part of that success.
Essential Experience/Qualifications required:
- City and Guilds Level 1,2 and 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
Desirable Skills:
- IRTEC
- LGV C+E Driving Licence
- EV experience
