Lighting Controls Sales Engineer
Are you an experienced lighting controls professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for building lasting customer relationships?
We're partnering with an innovative organisation within the lighting controls sector that is looking to appoint a Lighting Controls Sales Engineer to drive growth across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of lighting control systems who enjoys:

About the Role
Location: Midlands – Remote Working Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, + Yearly Bonus Benefits:

- Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Drive specification sales by engaging with consultants and influencing project designs
- Identify and developing new business opportunities within the lighting controls market
- Prepare accurate project quotations aligned with customer requirements
- Manage opportunities and customer interactions through the CRM system
- Provide customers with regular project updates and ensure a high level of service
- Collaborate with internal project delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers
- Deliver professional presentations and technical discussions with decision-makers
- Travel throughout the UK to visit customers and support project development
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working with lighting control systems
- Strong understanding of DALI controls and their practical applications
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or specification sales within the lighting industry
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable engaging with consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders
- Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Engineering or technical background within lighting controls would be advantageous
- Self-motivated, organised, and driven to exceed sales targets
- Willingness to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays
