Reports to: Head of Product Development – Luminaires, LED Strip and Controls
Department: Integral LED
Location: Head Office (Wembley) - hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
About The Role
We’re growing the project side of our business and building our reputation in the lighting specification and design space — and bringing our lighting design capability in-house is central to that. We currently work with external lighting designers, but the volume of designs we produce, the projects we want to win, and the depth of our own product range mean it’s the right time to build this function ourselves. This is a new internal role and a real opportunity to shape how we design and deliver projects, and to give our customers an even better experience.
It will suit someone who enjoys lighting design and likes getting to know products inside out, so they can turn them into practical, compliant and competitive solutions.
Working closely with our Integral LED sales teams — both on the road and in the office — and our Integral LED product team, you’ll provide lighting design, ideation and technical advice on LED installs to our wide customer base. You’ll design and deliver lighting solutions across a wide range of projects, from large-scale commercial spaces to smaller commercial and office installations, showcasing the full Integral LED range and making the most of the opportunities that specification and design work brings.
This is a hybrid role based at our Head Office (Wembley), with two days a week in the office, plus regular travel nationally to support project and sales activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
