Workload: Full-time
Onsite / Remote: Approx. 2–3 days per week onsite in Macclesfield
Travel within the UK required
Senior leadership role responsible for leading and delivering a global IT Operations transformation portfolio with a focus on Laboratory Systems and regulated IT platforms. The role oversees large-scale transformation programs while managing Program Managers, senior business stakeholders, and strategic technology vendors.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the IT Operations transformation portfolio strategy
- Lead a portfolio of large-scale transformation programs
- Manage and mentor Program Managers and Delivery Leads
- Engage with senior stakeholders across Labs, Quality, R&D, and Operations
- Manage strategic vendors and product partners
- Lead portfolio governance, prioritization, and investment management
- Oversee integrated planning, dependency, and risk management
- Drive change management, compliance, and value realization initiatives

Requirements
- 15–20+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or transformation leadership roles
- Strong experience within Laboratory IT / Laboratory Informatics environments
- Knowledge of LIMS, ELN, CDS, integration platforms, and data platforms
- Experience working in regulated environments with GxP compliance
- Proven track record leading large-scale global transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience
- Experience with portfolio governance, budgeting, and investment management
- Fluent English communication skills required
