About the Role
Are you an experienced Line Leader looking to earn a £1,500 signing-on bonus? We’re seeking a confident, proactive, and hands-on Line Leader to join our fast-paced Production team at Natures Way Foods.
This leadership role within a Food Manufacturing (FMCG) environment requires you to deliver high-quality products safely, meet performance targets, and coach colleagues to success. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy motivating teams, this role could be your next career move.
Shift Patterns Available
Days Only
- Shift Timings: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Rotating 7 days in every 14-day period
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday
Nights Only
- Shift Timings: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 4 nights per week (Monday to Thursday)
What You’ll Get
- Salary:
- Days: £28,888 (per annum)
- Nights: £33,014 (per annum)
- £1,500 signing bonus (paid once probation is successfully completed)

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and coordinate Production Operatives and agency workers on your line.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all H&S standards are followed, reporting accidents and near misses immediately.
- Quality Control: Complete start-up checks and manage non-conformances, escalating major issues appropriately.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and customer standards are met at all times.
- Performance Tracking: Take ownership of line KPIs, including:
- Yield
- Waste reduction
- Giveaway control
- Downtime management
- Production Monitoring: Track Short Interval Control (SIC) hourly and implement corrective actions when required.
- Compliance Paperwork: Ensure accurate and timely completion of food safety & compliance documentation.
- Training: Coach and train colleagues to achieve right-first-time quality standards.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage labour, materials, and equipment on your line.
- Shift Handover: Deliver clear and detailed handovers between shifts.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and communicate opportunities for process enhancement.
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates should demonstrate:
- Industry Experience: Previous experience within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Leadership Skills: Supervisory experience or proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Machine Operation: Strong background in machine operation.
- KPI Awareness: Deep understanding of production targets and performance indicators.
- Organisational Ability: Strong timekeeping, planning, and attention to detail.
- Quality Focus: Commitment to quality assurance and compliance.
- People Management: Confidence in coaching, motivating, and managing performance.
- Communication: Fluent spoken and written English required.
