Pay Range: £14.07 per hour

Breaks: 2 x 30 minutes

Shift Pattern:
- Rotating Weekly, Monday—Friday
Monday—Thursday:
- Week 1: 06:00—14:00
- Week 2: 14:00—22:00
- Week 3: 22:00—06:00
Friday:
- Week 1: 06:00—13:00
- Week 2: 13:00—20:00
- Week 3: 20:00—03:00

Responsibilities
You will:
- Operate and optimise a range of processing and packing equipment, including VFFS bagging machines, multi-head fillers, vacuum machines, depositors, and paste mills (and more).
- Support the delivery of the production plan by:
- Running equipment efficiently
- Completing quality and critical control checks
- Maintaining accurate paperwork
- Learning all aspects of processing equipment for flexibility
- Lead the machine line to ensure it is running to optimal capacity.
- Operate and set up production and packing machinery to meet safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Carry out:
- Start-ups
- Changeovers
- Adjustments
- Routine checks to maximise throughput and minimise waste
- Complete:
- Cleaning
- Basic maintenance
- Quality checks
- Accurate shift paperwork
- Ensure:
- Correct labelling
- Removal of non-conforming products
- Audit readiness
- Work flexibly with the team to deliver the production plan and meet production targets.
- Plan and allocate tasks to Production Operatives, including:
- Support
- Monitoring
- Training
- Activity control to deliver required performance
- Act as the quality contact during customer visits and audits.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Essential:
- Experience working in food manufacturing or manufacturing
- Experience operating processing or packing machinery
- Experience completing quality checks and quality paperwork (including CCPs)
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements (food hygiene certificate preferred)
- Comfortable using computer systems and production screens
- Able to work accurately with numbers and production data
- Able to plan and prioritise daily tasks on the line
- Clear communication with team members and supervisors
