Line Leader - £14.42 per hour

Location: March

Ready to lead a team and make a real impact on production performance?

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Line Leader to take ownership of a production line at our fast-growing March site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for delivering results across safety, quality, and efficiency while developing and supporting your team.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll lead from the front, ensuring your line runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

Production & Efficiency

  • Preparing the line for each shift to maximise output and minimise downtime
  • Ensuring machinery is ready, operational, and all pre-start checks are completed
  • Running the line in line with product specifications (programmes, films, date codes)

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards throughout production
  • Monitoring product quality and taking corrective action when needed

  • Leading, motivating, and supporting your team to deliver strong performance
  • Managing attendance and addressing any issues proactively
  • Running daily “Top 5” meetings to communicate priorities and results

Hygiene & Safety

  • Creating and maintaining a safe, compliant working environment
  • Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitoring KPIs and driving improvements across the line
  • Promoting lean practices, including 5S and waste reduction
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Stock & Materials

  • Ensuring correct storage and rotation of materials
  • Escalating any raw material issues quickly to avoid disruption

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Line Leader (or similar) in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Confident leadership and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
