Line Maintenance Control Engineer, East Midlands Airport (EMA), Permanent | Full-Time
£67,972 + £2,800 Shift Allowance, Hybrid Working Available
Ready to take your aircraft engineering career beyond the Line? Are you a B1 or B2 Engineer looking to use your technical expertise in a fast-paced operational role without spending every shift out on the aircraft? We're looking for an experienced Line Maintenance Control Engineer to join our team at East Midlands Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers with line or base maintenance experience who enjoy technical problem-solving, managing aircraft serviceability, and making critical operational decisions.

As part of our Line Maintenance Control team, you'll play a vital role in keeping aircraft flying safely and efficiently by coordinating maintenance activities, supporting operational teams, and managing aircraft recovery plans across the network.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing real-time technical support to Line Engineers, Flight Crews and our Operations Control Centre (OCC)
- Managing aircraft technical issues and supporting AOG recovery activities
- Coordinating maintenance requirements to ensure aircraft return to service as quickly and safely as possible
- Monitoring and managing Deferred Defects (ADDs) and MEL compliance
- Supporting troubleshooting activities for complex and repetitive defects
- Maintaining aircraft serviceability and availability records within company systems
- Delivering technical briefings and operational status updates to stakeholders across the business
- Working closely with CAMO, Engineering Management and Operational teams to ensure safe and compliant operations
