Line Maintenance Manager Based at Farnborough, Full Time Line Maintenance Manager Signature TechnicAir Based at Farnborough Airport with travel between sites (Luton & Bournemouth) Permanent We are looking for an experienced Line Maintenance Manager to lead our line stations and Mobile Service Unit (MSU) operations across the network. Based at Farnborough, you will take ownership of safe, compliant and customer-focused delivery, while providing strong leadership, robust financial control and clear operational governance. Who we are: Signature TECHNICAir, is a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul specializing in small to mid-size, turbine-powered business aircraft, with locations throughout the United States and Europe. As a division of Signature Aviation, Signature TECHNICAir EMEA operates a full service, CAA & EASA certified Part 145 Repair Station at Bournemouth airport, in conjunction with strategically positioned mobile service units based at Farnborough and Luton airports that serve a wide range of capabilities, across the UK and Europe. What you’ll be doing Lead the day-to-day delivery of Line Maintenance and MSU operations, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent performance across all locations. Hold accountability as the CAA & EASA Form 4 postholder for Line Maintenance, ensuring compliance with UK CAA/EASA Part-145 requirements (as applicable) and company procedures. Act as the primary point of contact for MSU customers, providing responsive support, managing expectations and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Maintain oversight of aircraft technical status, ensuring appropriate control, communication and escalation routes are applied. Drive performance through effective planning, deployment and KPI management (including turnaround, utilisation, overtime, cost and customer outcomes). Own the department budget, developing financial plans and ensuring cost-effective delivery aligned to organisational objectives. Control and approve overtime in line with business need and governance. Oversee resources including vehicles, tooling, ground equipment and company property, ensuring serviceability, compliance and effective utilisation. Work closely with Stores to manage materials and inventory levels, supporting operational availability and cost control. Lead and develop teams across the network, including performance management, wellbeing support, and training and competency assurance. Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for Line Maintenance, including audits, findings management, root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, company policies and Signature Aviation standards. What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years’ experience in an aviation maintenance management role. Eligible to hold CAA & EASA Form 4 approval. Strong leadership capability with experience developing, motivating and managing team performance. Confident customer-facing communicator, able to support MSU customers and manage operational expectations professionally. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage cost, overtime and operational drivers. Strong IT skills (MS Office and relevant operational systems). Fluent written and spoken English. Willingness to travel as required to support network operations.
