Line Marker / Surface Preparation Operative
Location: Ideally South of the M25 (not essential)

Adhere Lining Ltd is a growing line marking and surface preparation contractor working across the UK. Due to continued workload, we’re looking to recruit an experienced operative with a strong background in line marking, surface preparation and specialist paint applications.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a range of works including:

Line marking for:
- Car parks
- Warehouses
- Roads & highways
- Schools & commercial sites

Surface preparation, including:
- Hydroblasting / water jetting
- Mechanical preparation (grinding, shot blasting)

Paint & coating applications, such as:
- Airless spray machines
- MMA screed and MMA spray applications
- Specialist line marking paints

- Setting out and measuring works accurately on site
- Working on or alongside highways projects, including knowledge of Section 278 works
- Driving thermoplastic trucks or vans as required
- Working as part of a small team or independently when needed
- Nationwide travel, with early starts and occasional overnight stays
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in line marking and surface preparation (preferred)
- Experience with hydroblasting, grinders, shot blasters or similar equipment
- Familiarity with airless spray systems and MMA products
- Ability to set out works accurately from drawings or site measurements
- Knowledge or experience of highways works / Section 278 (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence - required to drive thermoplastic trucks or vans
- Reliable, practical and quality-focused
- Willing to travel and be flexible with working hours
- (Being based south of the M25 is ideal, but not essential for the right person.)
