Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Line Marking/Liner role based in Coventry. The role involves preparing surfaces, setting out measurements, and applying line markings for roads, car parks, industrial sites, and other areas according to specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include:

- Operating line marking equipment
- Mixing and handling materials
- Checking the quality and accuracy of completed markings
- Carrying out minor repairs or adjustments as needed

The Line Marking/Liner will work as part of a site team, follow health and safety procedures at all times, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure projects are completed on schedule. The role may also involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions and occasional early starts or extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in line marking, surfacing, groundworks, or related construction/site work, with practical skills in operating relevant tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail, including accurate measuring, marking out, and quality checking of completed work.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices, including safe handling of materials, equipment operation, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with site supervisors and colleagues.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks, work on feet for extended periods, and operate equipment in outdoor environments.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work to agreed deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport are highly beneficial; relevant construction or line marking certifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in commercial or domestic surfacing or lining projects in or around Birmingham is desirable but not essential.
