Production Operative - Warehouse (Packaging) Role at Huhtamaki

Key Responsibilities
- Follows the required process to request materials from the Warehouse Department via the designated computer system
- Delivers all raw materials to Production Areas using industrial/pivot trucks (e.g. "V truck")
- Assists in Paper Cup Production by:
- Packing cups into boxes
- Supplying materials for automation
- Weighs and records waste products/returned materials
- Fits core plugs and moves products to designated Kan Ban areas in the warehouse using trucks (e.g. "V truck")
- Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards across work areas
- Partners in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure continuous improvement and adherence
- Supports learning & upskilling from colleagues
- Assists with material tracking to meet departmental performance targets
- Ensures safe working practices at all times
- Monitors and maintains stock levels for required production materials, keeping minimum stock on the shopfloor
- Provides support for cup-forming production as required by business needs
- Conducts effective shift handovers with the next team
- Works collaboratively as a key member of the team
