Linen Porter

Location: St Ives Bay Beach Resort, Hayle, TR27 5BH

Contract: Seasonal Contract – Variable Hours

Salary: £12.71 per hour (paid weekly)

About the Role

As a Linen Porter, you’ll support our Accommodation Team by ensuring they have everything they need from the linen store, reporting directly to the Accommodation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Linen Management

    • Prepare cages of linen for delivery, ensuring clean linen is provided and dirty linen is collected.
    • Managein deliveries from our supplier, checking all linens arrive in the correct condition.
  • Facilities Support

    • Maintain the external cleanliness of accommodation—keeping it cobweb-free and pristine.
  • Bank Holidays

    • This role is active during peak holiday periods, including bank holidays.

Requirements

Despite providing training, you must:

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (essential for deliveries).
  • Work effectively to deadlines as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Be adaptable, conscientious, and organised.
  • Show a sense of urgency.
