Role Description
The Lingerie & Activewear Senior Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the design and development of lingerie and activewear collections from concept to final product. This role includes researching market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform seasonal design directions and product assortments. The Senior Designer will create detailed CADs, technical packs, and colour stories, select fabrics and trims, and collaborate closely with sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design integrity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve:

- Managing the design calendar
- Reviewing samples and fittings
- Providing clear feedback to customers and factories
- Ensuring collections align with brand positioning and commercial objectives
The role also requires helping mentoring mid-level designers, supporting the supervisor, and supporting cross-functional projects that enhance product innovation and brand differentiation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in lingerie and activewear design, including concept development, silhouette creation, and fit understanding within seamfree and cut & sew.
- Working well under pressure with target-driven accounts and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with design and technical tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software) and the ability to produce clear technical CADs and specification sheets.
- High level of print expertise, graphics, and motifs including understanding the GenZ market.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, construction techniques, and performance materials relevant to lingerie and activewear.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in sourcing, merchandising, production, and quality control.
- Ability to interpret trend, market, and consumer research into commercially viable product lines and be able to research efficiently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and remote collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines as well as work well within a team.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead design role in fashion or apparel within seamfree; experience with global supply chains and vendor communication is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
