Moonshot believes that marginalised people in society — including people of colour, minority ethnic, people from working class backgrounds, women, Disabled and LGBTQIA+ people — must be centred in the work we do. We strongly encourage applications from people with these identities or who are members of other communities who are currently underrepresented in our workforce. We know a diverse workforce will enable us to understand drivers behind violent extremism and online harms in an in-depth way and do better work to counter them.

About The Role

Moonshot is building a pool of skilled linguist consultants to support our expanding portfolio of research projects. We are specifically seeking professionals with native or near-native proficiency in Albanian, Hindi, Kurdish (Sorani), Punjabi and Urdu combined with excellent English language skills.

In this role, you will contribute your linguistic expertise to critical research initiatives focused on countering violent extremism, organised crime, gender-based violence, disinformation and other online harms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
