Lining Engineer
Location: Nationwide
Employment type: Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with flexibility for early starts, weekends, and out-of-hours work)

About The Role…
As a Lining Engineer, you will work closely with the Engineer and wider team as a skilled operative to deliver relining solutions using UV cure, steam cure, hot water cure, and ambient cure techniques across both regulatory and non-regulatory environments.
Working primarily on established frameworks with the UK’s leading water companies, you will play an active role in site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and within required timescales.

You will support site activities while contributing to team performance, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Engineer with day-to-day site duties Assisting in all relining works completed on site Ensuring adherence to Ipsum site processes and reporting requirements Promoting safe systems of work across health, safety, quality, and environmental standards Acting as a role model and supporting the development of team members Identifying and resolving issues before they escalate Supporting delivery of high-quality work, reports, and feedback Building strong working relationships with colleagues and clients Ensuring all site incidents are reported appropriately
About You…
You will have experience within the drainage or utilities sector and a strong understanding of relining or patching operations, with a proactive and safety-focused approach.
Key experience and qualifications:
Previous experience within the utilities or drainage industry Experience with UV, steam, hot water, or ambient lining techniques Full UK driving licence EUSR Patching and Lining Experience working as part of a patching or relining team NRSWA Street Works Confined Space Level 2 or above High-pressure water jetting Manual handling and First Aid at Work Banksman training Experience patching across a range of pipe diameters using standard and pillow packers HGV licence desirable OS19 qualification desirable
