About United Media

United Media (https://www.united-media.com/) focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. To date, we have organically launched six companies and acquired one.

Your Responsibilities

Your role will be flexible but primarily centred around the following key areas:

  • Email marketing:
    • Manage copywriting, design, strategy, and performance optimisation for newsletters, product updates, and exclusive campaigns.
  • Social media growth management:
    • Lead LinkedIn growth management (our largest audience channel) by experimenting with new content formats and driving engagement.
    • Expand into YouTube and assist with launching Twitter.
  • Graphic design:
    • Oversee our visual identity across all marketing channels. Training and support provided.
  • Website optimisation:
    • Work on SEO, UX enhancement, and website design for new formats that align with our brand identity.
  • Analytics & performance:
    • Continuously measure and refine performance metrics while targeting challenging KPIs.
  • Paid advertising & PPC campaigns:
    • Manage ad placements and campaign optimisation strategies.
  • Team synergy:
    • Collaborate with other teams to identify, repurpose, and share valuable content.
    • Keep teams updated on our brand's progress.

What We Expect From You

No prior experience in this exact role is required – we value drive, adaptability, and a willingness to learn over formal qualifications.

Key Requirements:

  • A UK work permit.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or work towards higher education qualification.
  • Passionate resilience and a determination to excel in your craft.
  • Unwavering work ethic with high urgency mindsets.
  • Proactive ownership of tasks, commitment to follow-through, and responsibility.
  • A curiosity for people – someone who builds, shares, and nurtures relationships with ease.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong organisation and ability to structure and prioritise workloads.
