Re:link, Linklaters’ platform for contract lawyers, is seeking qualified lawyers with experience in private banking and wealth management to support a broad range of work within the asset and wealth management space.

The work may focus on providing legal support across private banking and wealth management products and solutions, including lending arrangements and wider investment and banking services for ultra-high and high net worth clients. This may include credit solutions (excluding residential mortgage credit) as well as other financing and wealth structuring arrangements. The lending is typically secured by marketable securities, but collateral may also include precious metals, fine art, hedge fund and private equity interests, yachts and commercial real estate. Counterparties could include individuals, personal trusts, entities and estates, with cross-border issues arising from time to time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advising on the structuring and offering of private banking, investment, credit and wealth planning solutions to UK and international clients
  • Providing lending, banking and contract law advice to a range of internal stakeholders, including lending specialists, credit risk teams and functional partners
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of documentation, including credit agreements, collateral arrangements, guarantees and general commercial contracts
  • Analysing transaction structures and legal risks associated with different counterparty and collateral types
  • Reviewing legal opinions and responding to transaction-related queries from internal stakeholders and external counsel

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
