Linux Engineer - Hedge Fund - £150K+
Our client is one of the world’s leading systematic trading firms – A company at the cutting edge of finance, technology, and quantitative analytics.
In London they’re growing their Infrastructure team and are looking for an experienced, senior Linux engineer to join them.
You’ll have the chance to write your own software, filesystems, and tools as you see fit and work with some of the brightest, most creative people in technology and finance.

Current projects include creation of a new, bespoke filesystem, automaton of monitoring and observability systems, and bare metal provisioning.
You’ll need exceptional Linux knowledge, experience of large clusters, good networking, and solid programming skills.

Requirements:
- Proven, deep, Linux knowledge – Kernel-level, bare metal, large clusters
- Excellent understanding of systems administration and engineering, networking, and file systems
- Strong automation knowledge
- Ideally solid OO programming skills – Java, C++, Python, etc
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for learning and problem solving
