Associate - Liquid Credit Investment Solutions and Strategy
At Macquarie Asset Management, we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join our Liquid Credit Investment Solutions and Strategy team within the Credit and Insurance division.
The Credit and Insurance division is a leading player, employing 240 investment professionals who manage over £120 billion in assets (AUM) for institutional, insurance, and wealth clients globally. Our financial services group operates in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability.
About the Role
This role forms part of a global, client-focused team operating across investments, distribution, and strategic initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will be based in the UK and US, supporting the global fixed income and leveraged credit teams through:
- Investment initiative support: Assist with product launches, strategic messaging, and collateral updates.
- Client engagement: Provide best-in-class support for presentations, queries, RFPs, and prospect interactions.
- Strategic collaboration: Work with portfolio management and senior leadership on cross-functional initiatives to drive the growth of the Liquid Credit business.
You will play a highly visible role, contributing to the evolution and success of Liquid Credit Investment Solutions.

Responsibilities
- Assist in product development (launches, re starts) and strategic messaging.
- Represent the team in client and prospect engagements (presentations, RFPs, proof-of-concept (POC) projections).
- Work collaboratively on strategic projects with cross-functional teams.
- Provide best-in-class support for client distribution and engagements.
Requirements
Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable role within fixed income, preferably in CLOs (Collateralised Loan Obligations).
- Interest in financial markets, asset management, and continuous learning.
Skills
- Strong communication & presentation skills with the ability to distil complex information for diverse stakeholders.
- Sharp analytical & detail-orientated mindset.
- Collaborative with the ability to work seamlessly across time zones and functions.
