Role Description

This is an on-site, contract role based in Manchester, focused on liquid plastics roofing and cladding applications. The role involves preparing roof and cladding surfaces, applying liquid plastic systems in line with manufacturer specifications, and ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting work areas, mixing and applying products, carrying out minor repairs, and assisting with project setup and clean-down. The role requires close collaboration with site supervisors and other team members, adherence to health and safety procedures, and accurate completion of basic records related to materials used and work completed.

  • Relevant practical experience in roofing, cladding, or construction, ideally with exposure to liquid-applied systems.
  • Understanding of basic construction techniques, safe handling of materials, and on-site health and safety practices.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, manufacturer guidelines, and method statements with attention to detail.
  • Good physical fitness and willingness to work at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a proactive approach to problem-solving on site.
  • Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification; additional roofing or waterproofing certifications are an advantage.
  • Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel to different sites within the region if required.
