Role Description

The Listener role at MantraCare is a part-time, remote position focused on providing empathetic, non-judgmental support to individuals using the platform. In this role, the Listener will actively engage with clients through digital channels, attentively hear their concerns, and offer emotional support within established guidelines.

The Listener will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, follow structured protocols to ensure safety and quality, and provide timely responses that align with MantraCare’s standards for compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Strong active listening, empathy, and interpersonal communication skills to support individuals in distress or seeking guidance.
  • Ability to maintain clear, concise written communication and accurate documentation in digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated emotional resilience, professional boundaries, and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Comfort with using technology, including chat-based tools, telehealth platforms, and basic productivity software.
  • Understanding of mental health fundamentals, crisis awareness, and when to escalate concerns to licensed professionals.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and follow structured protocols.
  • Prior experience in peer support, counseling, social work, customer support, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Relevant training or education in psychology, counseling, social sciences, or mental health support is an advantage.
